On September 9th, “Chinese Patent Rankings”, a service product co-created by “i-Think Tank” of IPPH (Intellectual Property Publishing House) and people.com.cn, was officially launched at NO.1 studio of people.com.cn. Li Cheng, Vice President of IPPH, Cui Guozhen, Director of Consulting & Training Center of IPPH, Luo Hua, Vice President of people.com.cn and some news media like CNIPR, Mysipo attended the launch ceremony.
Based on the number of monthly application of Chinese granted patents, the “Chinese Patent Rankings” is sorted by regions, enterprises, scientific research institutions, colleges and universities and natural persons. And the rankings are updated on the 10th day of each month.
It is said that the “Chinese Patent Rankings” will keep up updating and enriching patent data, and releasing rankings on specific topics, such as rankings of key industries patents, rankings of patent infringement litigations, etc..
Luo said, combined by the specific patent data source of IPPH and new media communication means of people.com.cn, the “Chinese Patent Rankings” is the first cooperation between IPPH and people.com.cn which provides the public a direct and clear access of IP information. What’s more, people.com.cn also hopes to further explore and report some of the stories concerning innovation behind the rankings.
Li said, the “Chinese Patent Rankings” is a pioneer attempt to cooperate with the mainstream media. The rankings which presented in the form of webpage directly, dynamically, digitally to the public, provides an effective information platform for patent utilization and transformation of scientific and research achievements.
